HB39 officially passed and was signed by the governor on Friday, March 17. See below for details or visit this
link.  Any treasurers and recorders in a city of the third, fourth, or fifth class and each town, will no longer need to be re-appointed every two years. Their appointment lasts until they vacate the office.
